Summer Camp:

Dates: June 11 - 16

Location: The Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, 202 South Broadway, #100, Urbana, IL 61801

CAMP: 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Thursday

RECORDING: 8 AM - 12 Noon, Friday

ROCK CONCERT: 7 PM at Cowboy Monkey, Saturday

Learn the basics of playing guitar, bass, drums, keys, or vocals. Start a band and write a song together, then record it and perform it! No musical experience is required.

Girls Rock! is open to girls, transgender folks, and gender non-conforming folks 8-17 years of age.

Registration opens on Monday, May 21 at 11 AM.

Tuition for the workshops is on a sliding scale, with full tuition for the wee being $250. You can indicate what tuition you are able to pay in the last section of this registration. There will also be a limited number of scholarships available.
