GIRLS ROCK! C-U'S 2019 SUMMER CAMP

June 17th-22nd at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center

The GR! C-U camp will be week-long day camp where campers form a band, write a song, record their song, & perform it at a rock show at a local venue! Workshops that empower campers in their daily lives are included in the programming.

There are eight (8) spots available for the camp, with two spots for each instrument: drums, bass, guitar, and vocals.The camp is Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 4 PM, and the recording session will be 8 AM to Noon on Friday. The rock concert will take place in the early evening on Saturday June 22nd, with the exact location and time TBA.

We welcome girls, transgender folks, and gender non-conforming folks 8-17 years of age. Prior musical experience is not required.

Accessibility is important to us at GR!C-U. We offer tuition for the workshops on a sliding scale, with full tuition for the week being $250. A limited number of scholarships are available. For more information please email us at girlsrockcu@gmail.com
